ahhh yes, the genderised clothing debacle..1851 amelia bloomer invents her trousers for women, it takes a hundred and 10 years for the trouser to become a staple in a womens wardrobe...the idea of suggesting that certain items should only be worn by one gender alone, that men are men in a certain item, but not in others, in a country where our proud national dress is , well a wraparound skirt... |

A persons choice in clothes, whether they appreciate it or not, sends a message. Although a guy choosing to wear stockings cannot pretend not to understand that.

My dad was a taxi driver and wore tights under his denims in winter to keep warm. That was his excuse anyway
