how did you find out about fab?

Curious to see how people came across a site like fab, we were introduced to it a good few years back when a fem we met off gumtree told us about it, was better back then as there wasn't as much fakes on. How did you find out about fab? Could it be better advertised?

I had met a couple on the old gumtree thing before they took it off, went looking for a site that did the same, found fab & stayed.

Mrs J found fab by going to cjs & people there asking what her fab name was. So she went home & made one.

I used to be on another site and was it was mentioned by a friend that fab was starting up so I hopped over for a look and never really left lol
