Another real pub closes its doors this time to make way for a train ticket office. But going round glasgow the whole pub scene is garbage (imo) its just the same pretentious pubs with diffrent names Who else misses pubs with that something special. Not many left and even less with good forbid a pool table. |

As a non smoker, I do believe that the smoking ban has contributed massively to the decline in pubs, along with supermarkets being able to sell at a much lower cost due to the way taxes work. I do miss the good old locals of back home, Weatherspoon's I can't hear myself think most times. |
