Us swingers get a bad name and publicity thats uncalled for would you leave your own bedroom in this way?????
One double bed piss soaken watersports or dam lazyness get a grip
Used condoms left lying
One lovely lady even left her soiled panties
Come on guys and gals have a little respect if not for yourself then for those of us that do give a shit about what others think |

Come on guys and gals have a little respect if not for yourself then for those of us that do give a shit about what others think " That is absolutely disgusting...As someone who uses hotels every single week on business I find most hotel staff "turn a blind eye" to having "room visitors" but with actions like the aforementioned we will all find ourselves getting "room spotchecks" by hotel management. This is a practise used by some hotels for "Stag Party's" but it will become the norm over weekend for any kind of groups if so called adults leave rooms in this state.....
Remember last Sunday's papers and how eager they are for a story which I have to say someone at the hotel with happily give them... |

Isn't there a clause in hotels booking agreements/ contracts to allow them to bill the room booker's credit card for any additional cleaning services required? |

Once again it is all down to respect, and seems too many people lack it. If you can leave a hotel room in this state I dread to think what your own home is like. I for one hope not to get invited to it. xx |

Not to change the subject too much but it surprises me how many doggers quite happily fling used condoms onto the ground or onto the bushes.
Just the sort of thing likely to attract complaints from vanilla users of the location and encourage access controls - not to mention the intrinsic risks of leaving a DNA sample behind

i work in a hotel and if the guest is paying cash then they have to leave a £60 dep and if the room is in a state in the morning then they loose the dep same goes for card payments then the card will be charged accordingly, only the other week i had to deal with a pissed bed, used condoms, cum stains up the wall, really not nice to say the least |

I stay in hotels a lot, I always tidy up, put things in the bin. I even turn down the bed, even though I know they will just strip everything anyway. I think some people just don't seem to care.

When we get a night away from our kids I like to know I will have a nice relaxing time.
I dont want to hear people banging on random doors, waking people who have nothing to do with the social we have just been at, shouting down hallways, people smoking in non smoking rooms, d*unks upchucking in random places, the worst being in a bin just outside the lift in one hotel, sadly they missed most of the bin or people telling me (loudly) that the staff are "little hitlers" for doing their jobs.
I like to go back to my room and not worry that Im going to be kept up all night unless the person I'm sharing with is the one to do it
And having worked as a cleaner I know its a thankless job so I would NEVER want to leave a room in a mess never mind how the OP mentioned, quite frankly to me thats a very grotty person (or people) who would do that and say nothing, or try to clean it up in some way

Stayed in a few hotels over the years
For a mattress to be swamped badly, does the hotel not have a stock of spares for wastage.
Folk wet beds either deliberate or accidental,I wonder how many beds are turned over to hide a wet spot or a simple valence sheet is used.
Ps never ever been a swampy |

I for one can't add much more than what I have read I am digusted about this. I am so glad that we didn't hold the social in the same place as I know the management would be coming to us for recompence. It is things like this that makes you want to have nothing to do with socials and I mean attend them I hope that the people that left the rooms in this state are ashamed of themselfs.
We have stayed in many hotels and how we leave them is the way we find them except that the bed has been slept in and has been striped so that the staff have a head start. The odd time I have even left a tip for the girls as the room has been so clean, it isn't fair on them to walk into that in the morning they don't get paid enough for them to deal with that. |

As someone who stays in hotels at frequent intervals, we both find this shocking and disgusting. Also, as we have often wondered about dipping our "toes" into the socials, don't think we will bother, it's a shame that as usual the minority spoil it for the majority. Pity you didn't know who it was. |

cant understand why folks would wanna sleep all nite in a soaked bed either is beyond all comprehension ,let alone leave soiled knickers about an what ever happened to bins or down the lavi with condoms ffs they do supply bins in all rooms and bathrooms,
the both rooms i was in one i booked an one i stayed in were left as they were when we all arrived, i mean 5 mins tidy up time is all it would have taken ffs
i hope person / persons responsible are disgusted with themselves as much as we all are ,

Lazy sods, among all you pack, just one asda poly bag or the like,a quick zip round the room before you depart,"dive-bomb" the condoms(fill em with water)and woosh gone down the loo,all little things that keep what you do discrete and you can depart with yer conscience clear.
And you leave lookin like your average person that spent a night in hotel. Its no difficult whoever you were.

not condoning this in any shape or form but the one question I have is how did the hotel know the persons using this room were swingers we dont sign the register advertising the fact, if another member has told hotel staff majority of folks in the hotel were swingers then they now have all details of folks i.e home addys etc which then exposes all the folks there to possible .... well we all saw papers on Sunday .... just my thoughts and as I say not condoning what happened its totally out of order |

Take some consiliation from the number of people who have taken the time to condem the one who was so irresposible to leave the room like that.
From the thread the perps are very much in the minority and the rest of us are happily nailing our respect colours to the mast.
It is good to see so many decent people standing up against such behaviour. |

had it been determined that it was indeed people who were at social responsable for this, last social we were at there was loads of us in the premier inn, there was right racket during the night involving drink, sex, loud music smoking in rooms etc police were involved too but had nothing to do with swingers who were occupying a large number of rooms in the hotel |

This makes me think shame for those who organised and others who attended the social, are all organisers now to take into consideration how others will behave afterwards in hotels? Or do we just charge extra to provide them with a nanny and baby-sitter?
It makes one wonder who exactly are the adults. Sickened that this person(s) behaviour marred the evening for some. xxx |

I made some enquiries this afternoon and I understand the cheap and cheerful hotel chains have an informal warning system in an attempt to ensure anyone who's left a room in poor condition or treated staff badly etc finds it difficult to book a room again. |

I think the same way Laine I could crawl under the floor boards because of this as I was one of the people who orginised (sp) it and feel that I should apoligise to the hotel for the actions of one or two people as if it hadn't been for the social they wouldn't of been there and this wouldn't of happened. Makes me think twice of doing it again. I only wish that the whole night even after was enjoyed without this happening |

Why not just say whos room it was? Stops people trying to double guess, we stayed at the hotel and lots of people know we stayed there, does this make us suspects???
This sort of forum could blight the people who stayed there, all of us...
So was it our room? G
ps all we did was get changed and then sleep in ours.... just in case you thought it WAS us. |

They are adults Chelle, and responsible for their own behaviour.
However I do think it a timely reminder to others to employ a little more discretion, the hotel had no need to know some guests were swingers. |

Ok the way I see it is that if the social wasn't on the hotel room wouldn't of been booked by the people who left the room in the state it was in. As they had booked the room because of the social. I just feel a bit guilty and upset that the fun that was had at the social wasn't carried on to the hotel and became marred by this. I think that xplains it in a word I just wish that it didn't happen |

I personally think you were right to bring this into the light FF, we catch enough bad press as it is without this disgusting kind of behaviour, the only thing the guilty party can do now if gather what personal respect they have, delete their profile and close the door quietly behind them with their head hung in shame for the trouble they've caused.
Just my opinion. |
