So....
Cast off. Brace on for 6 weeks. Got exercises to do and can NOT straighten my hand at all. Stitches out next Thursday morning.
The surgeon came to see me today in physio and said it was completely severed and he had to go into my hand to pull the tendon back and repair it.

Cast off. Brace on for 6 weeks. Got exercises to do and can NOT straighten my hand at all. Stitches out next Thursday morning.
The surgeon came to see me today in physio and said it was completely severed and he had to go into my hand to pull the tendon back and repair it.

You still need to do the physio even if you feel it's not doing anything... IT IS... it will take time to repair the damage and sadly tendon damage is worse than when you break a bone... it takes longer to heal... I think cake helps though... I'm sure a recent scientific survey showed that |
