So folks what sort of excuses have you had for no show or cancelled meets???
Recently it has been child taken into hospital.... the wards in and around Fife must be chockablock with kids at the moment!!!
we know things DO happen but when they don't let us know and come back to us to rearrange it is so bloody annoying! It only takes a minute to txt and then at least we'd know.
well we will not be running after um anymore.Are we being hard n uncaring or what? How long would you give them to get back to rearrange? |

Sorry, but if something happened to my child when I had a meet arranged they would be the last person I would be thinking of texting.
My kids and family come before everything, especially swinging! |

I have to say that if my kid was ill i wouldnt be worrying about a meet either , sorry u were let down , but a bit of compassion wouldnt go a miss , if someones kid is ill i wouldnt expect a text message. |

lets just get to the nitty gritty the fucking site is full of bullshitters , i know , i was on here for a long time ,deleted my account and came back , bingo guess what still more of the same bullshitters, ive often seen horrible adds where postees are blunt and thought fuck me odd, but this woman s post is right it costs nothing in a quick sorry cant , everybody can text fast enough why not a quick contact back ,personaly ive been nice as nice to folk oh lets talk get to know after a month and still a knock back hey guess who,s pissed of as well, stick to you guns hun make your add plane and simple dont be polite , polite gets you know where , ps hope this pisses everyone off you know who the fuck you are ,yes you done the dirty to me ,i have all the messages still. |

in all honesty yes the hospitals have been really busy with kids at the moment.....i know various kids that have been in hospital latley as there are some really bad viruses going around at the moment........swinging and a meet takes backseat any day to your ill child. |

Compassion? we've got loads of it but we're talking of guy txting constantly for a week before then nothing on the day of meet and only after we;ve txt them the following day do we get the childs ok but been in hospital.But they have still been online in the time elapsed. then not get back to us at all.
and twice in a week does seem odd...we undrestand everyone has a life away from here but manners cost nothing. |

Maybe there's a need for a disclaimer on certain profiles. Along the lines of..........
"I/ we reserve the right to cancel meets without notice or explanation if something I/ we consider to be more important comes up." |

I get what the op is saying although maybe they haven't used the best example to prove their point, a wee text to say soz we can't make it is only decent . I will say though if any of my wee ones were taken to hospital I can honestly say that I would be thinking of nothing else and could only say sorry afterwards when everything was ok. Just my 2 pence worth lol. xxx |

I do have kids myself albeit grown up, so would probably be the same if anything happened to them. the point i was trying to make was why guys just disappear afterwards, its just the lack of manners. begining i hadn't opened this can of worms but its getting rediculous the ammount of timewasters here at the moment.
anyone who has visited us knows what effort we put in to make people welcome and relaxed! |

This may read rather trivial, but did you 1 to 1 talk on phone too?
Mentioned oodles of texts but no call,you kinda always could/should get to the comfy stage/arrangement of being able to talk, and with the talk comes the aid of hearing how genuine a person is, cold messages and texts can be created by the most enthusiastic sounding people, but sadly with zero intention to meet.
That said,maybe for yourselves create a clinical "communication limit" ex amount of time spent talking a fun time coupled with the (in this case,pattern of failures to not appear)will bring you both to a limit of how much you want to put up with someone mucking about,all you need to see is the oodles of other willing genuine folks that simply will not do this to you both. Then it suddenly becomes fairer on yourselves and those genuinely eager to meet?
Its a lovely big site with oodles of fun options, puting your eggs all in one basket with one option can be a huge waste of your time.
As an example of the patience needed, i've simply kept in touch with some great fun people with no insistance to meet or pressure, just kept in touch and in one case, after 2 yrs of this, the time suited, the occasion appealed to them, and bingo we had a cracking meet,(thats a wee pointer for mr angry above,lol)

if hes been on line in that period why would you bother txting him next day ?more importantly why on earth would you wanna reshedule anything with him or give him another chance??? lets face it if your childs ill or had to go to hospital then you wouldnt think to txt but you certainly wouldnt be on here either ! id would of taken it as he wasnt interested ,bottled it or was maybe getting a better offer and id just move on . you can garentee theyll sniff back about soon enough and just take pleasure in telling them youve got better offers now and are far too busy to meet em !  |

As a TV I get more than my share of timewasters and bullshitters. Many fantasise about shagging a TV thinking its like the porn they see (when of course its better with me lol). Many just play this fantasy out right until youve wasted hours. Excuses are instantly recognisable but at least the ones who text are really saying 'sorry I've bottled it.' I could write pages of Standard Text Excuses here's a few:
@the folk im doing business with have insisted on taking me to dinner so I'll be back very late.' or 'my neighbour arrived unexpectedly' 'my phone ran out of credit or I forgot to charge it' etc etc |

unfortunatly crap like this happens all the time,
if you feel you have been taken for a ride,,your prob right.we had arranged with a cpl to meet that night they did all the chasing then got a txt sayn their child was ill,,then we received a party invite and a guest list,,,guess whos name was on the list also going to the party? so txt them sayn oh glad to see your child is better and they sent back only thing we cld think of of getn out the meet?
so moral of this story if your going to use an excuse to get out of a meet id rather it was the truth.and would you beleive they had the cheek to ask to meet again!! lol
shit happens on here unfortunatly take it as experience and move on

Yes spoke on phone with the txter so thought he was ok. we used to verify on cam but that started getting silly... wanking shows i am not into(H). just find there are some that get off on the anticipation of meeting but never do in the flesh.

Drawing a line under this now. there are always going to be the all talk no action brigade on here. we have a nice circle of true swinging friends that always restore our faith in people but do agree that would prefer the honest approach than the bullshit morals of the few. off for a good night with sexy friends.xx |
