I know the feeling! I'm dwarfed by my sons & my 13 year old daughter has bigger feet than me & is now taller than me ...... mind you, I'm not quite 5'3"

Size 13 feet here, so I know the difficulty he'll face, however it's A LOT easier now than it was when I was younger.
New Balance do a lot of affordable and fashionable big sizes of trainers.
