Who on here often changes their Gas and Electric billing companies???

I work for a G+E company and the amount of people who don't even know the benefits of changing is AMAZING! There are people out there who still think they get their gas from the gas board and elec from the electric board makes me mad sometimes....It's the NATIONAL GRID who supply both these days, but all these companies are doing are billing people for it....so come on people, when someone calls you about it, or knocks your door about it....take the time to invite them in and chat about it....you never know....IT COULD BE ME!

Well if they can afford paying people to knock on doors and harass people they must be charging too much

I looked at swapping billing companies some time back but discovered the biggest savings were down to how you actually pay your bill - at the time monthy direct debit was by far the cheapest option.

Even if the charge per unit used was higher your outlay could be less depending on how you pay.

we looked into changing out leccy but decided against it.as someone we know had to wait 6 days to get a gasman to call due to the fact they did not pay the gasboard to supply the gas but a different provider, who had to arrange the repair, and they required to get the gas board to do the work, but there own customers came first and the others were left to last.

get your gas and electric from the same supplier ask for an online deal, pay by direct debit and put your readings in your self online regularly.
