I have to visit Grantown-on-Spey from London in a few days.

Can someone please advise what's the cheapest and swiftest way to and from.

Train to Aviemore and then a taxi to G on S would be the quickest, whether or not it would be the cheapest or not is a different matter.

Aviemore and regularly visit Glasgow

Flying to Inverness and then getting a bus to Grantown could be the cheapest option, but flights tend to be expensive when only booked a couple of days in advance.

There is a virgin East Coast train that goes directly from London to Aviemore and you could then get the bus to Grantown from there.

The cheapest would probably be Megabus to Aviemore, then a local bus to Grantown.

The quickest would be plane to Inverness, then hire car to Grantown.

There is, or used to be a good curry house in Grantown (it was the only one when I was there) but probably the best I have been to.
