i think the east coast sounded like a good idea. although, obviously it doesnt really matter to us as we're in the middle lol. (an my bum will go numb whatever direction we drive in lol)
i think wherever most people can go would be great.  |

how does this sound, for the ones in glasgow up to kinross and meet ppl there then onto leven, then up round the neuk of fife to st andrews (vixen get the kettle on lol)then up to dundee then couper angus then down to perth and then home from there where ever you stay lol  |

as for places to go up towards perth and round via glen shee and the lecht might be fun the last time i was there the roads were brill.
since i have a spare seat for a pillion ill offer as well.

Here Bandit,
If Mr 44 passes last part of his test today (friday) we'll hopefully be there and if not and you're near Coupar Angus I insist you all pop in for a cuppy as I'm 4 miles from Coupar Angus on the road to Perth ( and there's plenty off road parking at my place)

Just a quick note, to all. the long range forecast for east of scotland on sat is abysmal! need to keep an eye on it, it may be worthwhile re-routing? therefore worth watching this post for detials?

In typical scottish weather fashion the forecast for up the east coast (sounds like a euphimism for some new sexual entry point!) has changed and is to be dry! FFS! that will no doubt change between now and saturday, but i will be out most nights this week, in my leopard print, thong speedos (Declan) doing a sun dance in my back garden and think you should all do the same!

This weekend is the start of the Pittenweem arts festival in the East Neuk, and as such the volume of traffic and number of police officers in town will be huge compared to normal.....be aware of that folks! xxxx |

8.30am here in glasgow and its stopped raining, forecast says east coast is to be good, its just getting out of the west thats the probs lol, i`ll be leaving house at 9am so if anyone wants to get me you have my number and if you cant manage give me a text so we aint hanging about waiting for you lol, see you all later take care

just a bit of drizzle (5mins) ,
other than that a good mix of bikes and roads at a good pace.
only one or two moments of "oh s**t" on a few of the bends.
good to get east coasters to show us westies the roads

Hi just want to say thanks for another great day out. Never had a ride up the east side before. Can see many more happening soon. Glad George was there. I would have been well lost and wouldn't have seen as much. Also meeting more lovely peeps. Cheers bruce for organizing it again. Can't wait for the next one. How many big sleeps will it be bruce.

Just to let everyone know we ran out of fuel 5 miles from home!
Just kidding!! And wishin i had never mentioned it now!
Was a good day out, great roads, great company once again.
Need to try to get a quick one organised before the summer goes (lol, summer! ye rite!)
The more the merrier.
Maybe for the next one we should just pick the furthest away member of fab in Scotland and head for there, stopping in at all other members towns/homes on the way for a 'wee cup of tea'?

while in the cafe we were talking about the 3rd run so get your ideas ready for the next one.
i have 2 possibles .
1. south west ayrshire and galloway
2. scottish borders
im sure we could make the runs about 200 miles(all in) that seems to be the norm but if you fancied a long day then you could put both together for a long run .
since i dont know the roads well enough it would be great to have a local rider to show us the area |
