Have just booked time away on my own, scared already. I must be clinically insane, seemed a fantastic idea at time. Has anyone been to Prague or Poland- Kraków??? If so any suggestions on what is a must to do whilst there?? Xx

Not forgetting the sex toy museum if you want to kill a few hours during one of the afternoons.

I went to Greece alone once and had a great time, hope you have a blast. You'll get talking to people so you won't be entirely alone.

Never been to Prague but it's on my list

I've never been to Prague but there's a couple in cj's from over there and the male half assures me the swinging clubs are amazing over there.

I went to Ibiza on my own once.

Had more fun then than the year before when I went with a crowd!

You'll love it, but be safe!

Prague is a very nice city with quite a lot of the medieval parts left intact (or at least restored) - some of the touristy bits can be more expensive of course but you'll have a great time.

A walk across the Charles Bridge while eating one of the fantastic local ice creams is a must.

Prague is beautiful all times of the year. A great mix of amazing architecture, history and modern culture to breathe in all at the same time. Great train system too linking the city together and a couple of beautiful squares to enjoy.

I enjoyed Krakow too, but February snow and freezing temperatures ensured most of the time there was in their bars, cafes and restaurants. Lovely hosts though, you won't struggle for interaction.

I backpacked my way round the Greek Islands when I was younger on my own. It was a great experience. I had company when I wanted it and had me time when I needed it.

I'm off to Thailand in a few weeks with the family but hoping for a couple of days on my own to visit Cambodia while there.

You won't regret it. Have fun and good luck.

I've been to both Prague and Poland (Kraków) and have to say they are both great places!

Was in Poland for work mind you!

Surprisingly enough the one thing I remember from Prague was that one place was advertising a midget lap dancer! Made me laugh!
