Any recommendations- looking for decent but not to pricey where you can get a cosy booth with good food and staff not overbearing.

My suggestion is Ad-Lib just near central station. always a great meal. don't know if they have booths there. they used to at the one in merchant city but its shut now.

It doesn't have a booth set up but it is cosy, good value and really good food. It's called Celinos and it's near Alexandra Parade in the East End.
