Questionable threads!

near Glasgow

Over a period of time, we regularly get complaints about threads involving cliques, or whatever the poster sees as being stupid, pointless threads.

Well here's another moan; why do so many people, the bulk of them guys, post such stupid questions? Is it 'see me', 'look at me' type stuff, or are they really..........??

Sometimes because they don't search through the forums for past threads which would answer their question.

Sometimes because they're lazy.

Sometimes because they're stupid.

And sometimes just for the attention I guess.

As for me, I just post crap to amuse myself

Ayrshire

But this is also something that's asked on a weekly basis.

I guess they want to make their own thread, they might feel they would like answers to their own question rather than other people's or they might just not think to search the forums and check first, most people don't.

Maybe it's an age thing..but my patience and tolerance are going down the pan together at the moment. The amount of purile nonsense posted (apart from my own of course) is making me think that my 14 month old grandson asks more searching questions. As for those who could Google an answer to their "life experience or lack of it" question.... I despair.

I recall a fabber from the days gone by, a regular forum poster, terrible speller , was very naive and was forever being set homework by others. He made Google his best friend and learnt ALOT.

Just sayin......
