Just out of interest. If you have "no face pic, no reply" on your profile. Should you have a face pic on your profile for people to see?
By the way, I'm aware of the issues regarding why people state said phrase.
i.e.
- why should I show my face, when you have messaged me.
- I get a lot of emails etc.
- I know what I want....
I just don't get it the slight contradiction. It puts the sender of the email in a slightly vulnerable situation/feeling, as they are sending a face picture to someone they have no idea what they look like.

A lot of the time "no face pic no reply" will mean face pic attached to your mail, not necessarily publicly on your profile. I find that more often the case.
I ask for face pics generally within the first 1-2 messages if I'm interested, or like the look of the profile that's messaged me. 'Cause it just saves time if we both get to see what the other person looks like, straight away, rather than wasting time by chatting and chatting and they might not even be your type at all.

We always ask for a face pic if someone is messaging us. We always attach a face pic if we mail someone. Like said above, can save a lot of time if an attraction can be established right away. If folk don't agree with it, not our problem really (Mr) |

We have no face pictures, no reply on our profile. It saves a lot of time tbh and if we're interested then yes we would send a face pic back after a few messages. But we would never have face pics as our profile pic. If people don't like it then don't message. Simples!
I take it pisses people off?? |
