With having insomnia I don't sleep well if at all .

Any others who struggle to sleep have any tips that help you sleep

Only thing that helps me sleep is a good sex session but practically that's not gonna happen every night so any sensible suggestions are more than welcome

Routine to wind down - no caffeine after 8, brush teeth/wash face, no tv or phone 30 minutes before bed, masterbate with particular vibrator...

Not working for me tonight though!!

You could always go and watch Hearts! They've sent me into an involuntary sleep dozens of times!

In all seriousness, thank goodness for 24 hour TV. Imagine having to watch the BBC test card all night and that wee girl with the clown doll!

Radio 4 extra. I listen to them read me stories and I fall asleep, works better than any sleeping pill.

I work constant nights so even at the weekend I'm awake in the middle of the night.

I'm the same with the permanent night shift.

There must be an easy way to get back into the right sleeping pattern for the weekend.

Scientists should be working on this

I've heard of this magical word called sleep. Apparently it normally happens at night till the morning. I couldn't find it last night x

Insomnia needs a complete lifestyle analysis to see where and what needs improvement.

There are some obvious go toos to correct and change habits. Many times though, ppl aren't willing to change their existing habits and routine.

I don't have insomnia but when I have trouble getting to or back to sleep, I have a happy place that I think of. Relax, remember the feeling and the peace it instils in me. Most of the time it works

I use audio books when I'm away works most of the time. If I know I have to get up at a certain time though I can't sleep.
