abusive and threatening messages

we recieved probably the worst message we have ever had from a single guy or anyone else for that matter was abusive and threatened violence to jim altogether nasty person possibly dangerous if he takes a polite rejection that badly it was reported yet the profile is still online personally think this profile should have been removed.Any suggestions or thoughts |

Honestly? All you can really do is report and block the idiotic keyboard warrior and hope admin do the right thing and deal with the individual.
It's the same story on a daily basis I'm afraid.
Just don't let them get to either of you. Hold your heads high and just be yourselves.
If you hide away, individuals like this will win and nobody wants that.

was totally gobsmacked as never had a reaction like that before he actually said he had been in the killing game for 25 years and better hope not to meet any RM in Rosyth we only pointed out we don't meet single guys and his profile said only looking for women so a meet was out of the question |

Admin may have blocked him from using site facilitys (like msging forum posting).
To be honest removing them from the site does very little they just reappear with another profile. So at least you know where you are with this profile. Know of a few banned for lifes. Who right now are on site Giving the lovely lovely vibe. |

If site administrators haven't done anything about him by now the wont ever. I doubt therefore that they would have the audacity to ban you.

And that would land them in hot water for breaking site rules 
Best to just vent, then rise above the morons. There will always be the minority who want to cause offence and distress. Don't fuel their egos. They aren't worth it the pond scum |

Probably best finding that out via private message as there's likely to be multiple moderators with different views and priorities for banning folk for one thing and not for another. |

How is this getting more common?
Its not helping the site at all and some of my friends are just getting more and more insular from the abuse

It goes through cycles mate. It will get better for a while then it will get worse again. It's life I'm afraid.
My only advice for your friends is to report, block and carry on as normal. If they don't then the keyboard warriors win and they shouldn't let that happen! |

I'm willing to bet he's a little geek that doesn't get it that often but acts hard from the safety of his keyboard.
