One for the Ladies.

What does it for you if meeting a guy:

A suit, Uniform or Casual and have you ever met up with someone and wished the fashion police were present.

My thing is suits but wouldn't expect a guy to wear one for a meet unless he wanted to.

Or jeans & a nice white shirt teamed with blazer and tan shoes

Whatever the man feels comfiest in would never ask a meet to wear something specific .

Unless it was rigger boots hard hat and a high viz vest

Yes I've met someone that I wished the fashion police were present. Actually I could have been doing with the fashion SAS out that night

I wear a suit every day for work so after work meets suit me lol. Although some folk have mentioned when I rock up in jeans and a shirt at the weekend that they weren't sure if I'd be wearing a suit ha ha... I probably wouldn't put one on just to meet someone, although did suit up for the Xmas night at CJs!

A blazer? Perhaps this should be on the bizarre requests thread?

If I get one more guy sending me a picture of themselves in a hi viz vest and hard hat I will delete fab forever! It's not a sexy look guys. You remind me of the village people.

What does work is a nice suit (but to the right occasion) I'm a sucker for a guy who is a trainer snob but again not to CJs or a bar meet.

I love a wee bit of quirkiness and individuality.

I'm that shallow there was someone who I wouldn't sleep with because he had a 1980s style tan leather blouson jacket. And not in a hipster way.

Over to you guys - what works for you? Obviously stockings and suspenders for most but anything else? Xx

I like anything, there's a bird bout my age in my area "a nedette" some days trackies other days joggies, others mmmmmm leggings & she's a total hottie. But honestly its the person not the clothes I grew up being taught to get to know the person & not judge on what I see.

As for the stockings & suspenders not my thing at all. I'd prefer a pair of ankle socks

lol I grew up in a different era from most of the people on fab, I grew up around nedettes, yes a sexy wee dress can be nice or the naughty teacher favourite a skirt suit or the better pants suit oooft. But honestly if I showed up to a meet & a woman had bed hair, no make up & a T-shirt that reaches her knees I'd still find it a sexy look

Tend to find the majority of the white shirt, jeans n blazer gang are pretentious arseholes who seem to think they're something better than everyone else

Blazers - At best - well, lest worst, images of brass buttons - and City Cash Tailors closed 30 odd years ago! Worse still - polyester with Bowling badges!

A sharply cut navy blue jacket with a ticket pocket - well, you might be on to something there...

Nobody has!

Suits include Westwood, Smith and a couple of Ted Baker for work - as to Blazers - I'll buy one if you'll meet me for dinner! (I'd still rather wear Paul Costelloe and Jaeger - still, happy to negotiate...)
