It's amazing the amount of polite messages I send and it does not even get opened and they are online all the time. Fab has certainly had its day in my opinion I have been on here for over 9 years and it use too be great website. It's too much like nosey book and most people think it's a dating website now  |

been here a good few yrs not long after site started (dont think its 9 yrs old though) and in all that time you never realised polite msgs dont mean you get a reply. if you are of no intrest polite or not why should they spend time on you. fab has in most asked questions since the day dot probably take no reply to mean no intrest. And dating site lol the forums is only ever full of cjs advertisment not exactly a dating club Is it. I agree the site has changed but no in earlier yrs folk didnt accept what they didnt want |

Im sure it was Sluttycpl that opened the Site in 2006/2007...ive been here pretty much most of it.
Although change is always good,but it also has its drawbacks.
Some good people have left and some have joined.
Fab is what you make of it.you are responsible for your own enjoyment in whatever way that suits you.
You only get out of Fab in what you put into it.
I do agree however the OP has some valid points.

Thing is there are so many single guys on here looking for attention & meets. It gets really overwhelming.
I personally have a block on single guys 'cos it's not necessarily what I'm looking for from this particular site. That's not to say I never contact/meet single guys, just picky about who. Also means I'm not having to deal with endless messages from guys. It really sounds harsh, but its personal preference.
I try to respond to all of the messages I get!
Also, sometimes being polite doesn't mean much and I know that sounds pure shite, but its true. |

I'm polite to every female I meet in bars and pubs. Doesn't mean to say they have to talk to me though.
It's no different here.

Some people do use it as a dating site, some use it as a swingers site. Whatever people use it for you still shouldn't expect a guaranteed reply unfortunately.
Think of your messages as making the person aware that you are interested, if they don't reply back you're probably not their type so move on |
