I love to play music when doing my housework so today had the music channel on and immediately got Duran Duran who I hate with a passion (dunno why - but some things/people just do get you that way don't they )

So put on some Oasis which I hadn't listened to for ages and was transported back to a time in my life that was... well "interesting" shall we say... In particular a little known and modest track called She Is Love...

What stirs you one way or another???

Was fixing the car to The Almighty and Megadeth today. Blasts from up to 11 past.

Car liked it too clearly, as it ran for the first time in a year and a half since I took it off the road to rebuild it.

A good day for metal!

I'm a massive fan of pink floyd and the doors and alot of stuff from the 60s, definitely born in the wrong era. Think the music sounded alot better back then and there was so much going on in the world that helped influence some of the great tunes from that time. Could definitely see Jim morrison being a fab member if he was still alive lol

A bit of 999 for me, brings back fond memories and gets you moving when you need stuff done.

I have a very large eclectic music collection.

During my darkest battles with my inner demons I found surprise surprise listening to Pink Floyd brought me out of it

Listening just now to a lot of what is called Avante-Garde metal especially Japanese bands Boris and Envy but liking Defheaven's Sunburn album

Bands like Isis, Mogwai, Suun o))), Sigur Ros are on my playlist at present

Recently formed a new band and back in contact with some of Scotland's old school rockers listening and playing old material from SAHB and Nazareth as well Almighty etc
