There's been a lot of controversy on the forums last few days which with some have turned nasty. So let's have your happy stories... On or off fab.

For me it would be my job change a few months ago which has given me an amazing quality of life and the first Xmas day off in at least 10 years, maybe more. K x

Since the turn of 2016 the forums have been horrid but not only in the forums what also goes on in private too .

Hold your head up high people the truth will out in the end

I've had a great time here and hope I continue to do so for a little bit longer yet .

Just ignore the shit and enjoy the good bits

This time last year I was being made redundant but eventually ended up with a promotion instead!

I was also left a little money which has cleared my debts and I have a nice chunk to go towards a deposit for a semi this year, can finally get moved out of this flat

Far too many spiteful rain clouds of doom on here at the moment, trying to ignore and enjoying the happy

Getting kept on in my job and seeing my fitness get better and done a lot more to help other people out and getting more money to spend on my friends and family at Christmas even had enough to get myself a tattoo booking :D

We kind of went into hibernation over Xmas and New year. But tend to only post on happy posts when we do!

There's too much doom and gloom in the world without it going on in here too!

You're not wrong! We were just settling in with a cuppa in bed and watching with baited breath last night lol

Anyhoo, going self employed back in the industry I love for me (again). Freedom, being able to do things with the family I've not been able to before and seeing a bit of the World to boot.

Started my own business in the summer of 2015, decided to try and do it all self funded with no loans and no debt. I got sick to death of the national company I was an employee of taking the piss and paying me dreadful wages so decided to take the plunge.

Iv been extremely lucky with how busy Iv been which is helped with being the only one who does my job north of Glasgow and managed to beat my 12 month targets in under 6.

Roll on the next 6 months and hopefully the years to come

The fun we've had so far and future fun planned , 2016 has been eventful but in a funny way . We are stronger than ever with an amazing circle of friends who support us and cast no judgement as who are any of us to judge . Stones and glass houses springs to mind .

I'm glad you had Xmas off K , can't imagine having to work Xmas day though I know many have to do it .

We have breaks away booked ,plans to go downsouth again, plenty more parties to attend and lots of socials and nights out to arrange.

Life is good . Onwards and upwards ( and that's even from a hospital bed) lol

Well for me after having the shittest new year eve ever loosing my baby cousin at 34yr of age with 2 beautiful kids and a husband left without a mum due to the big C ,and getting over the first new yr with out my brother in law .

I ventured out yesterday to celebrate a good friends birthday .Which became one of the most strained ,strange ,emotional ,worrying and happyest days of my life .

Which made me sit in reflection of my life last night and the conclusion that I came to was..... I have the most amazing family, friends on and off this site who have my back and don't doubt me .I'm surrounded by love, support, loyalty, honesty and trust .This is something in life many people could only wish, dream about and are envious of, im one blessed woman I tell you .moral of my story ...... Nothing keeps a good woman

Awww what a nice thread, I'm finally moving to my own pad after living with a roomie for 7 years

I didn't spend new years moping at home this year and I loved it!

My car was damaged by a neighbour and when it came back from the garage they had fixed so many things that had nothing to do with the crash

For me I wouldnt be without some of the great ppl I've met on here, they have all helped me through some trying times and I look forward to spending more fun time with them.

Left a job beginning of November after being promised loads of freelance work. I've had one fkn day out of the tosser....

Thankfully started a new gig today elsewhere. I've had plenty time to get fitter last couple of months so that's a bonus....

Not drinking in January, will be interesting to see the scales end of the month...
