same day as Fara Fawcett too,
its a shame really that Michael Jackson will always be more remembered for the accusations of child abuse and not for the music that he created |

I'm stunned.
Got his entire back catalogue of CD's, vids, DVD's
Spent all morning trying to console my 26yr old daughter who is devastated with it all.
In the immortal words of one of his own songs
"Gone Too Soon"
RIP MJJ hope your in a better place |

exactly what we said above stunna.
the guys had bad press but his music was and still is great, also the people that want to call the guy a peado and stuff like that seem to forget the amount of things MJ did for charity, especially unicef |

Saw him live at Wembley on the "BAD" tour,pre-bad press, pre any hint at all the bad stuff and he was frikkin awsome!!
Picture the scene, standing about for hours, mid pitch at wembley, drink n jiggin about to the PA music, waiting n waiting to see this guy that everyone kept telling me was Brilliant.
The old spice ad music starts,(sounds naf but was awsome) and there he is on both big screens, in mid stage, in smooth criminal gear, your just absolutely on edge of your seat and could not wait to see both the dancing and hear him.
I doubt any solo artist will ever create such appeal and be so talented to draw so many to go see them ever again.
Remembered for the music n dance of that im sure,

I think its very sad for his family and there is no doubt be was a musical genius..
His music will be forever remembered and it was outstanding...
all that being said...he had some very dubious activites involving children..and that did and quite rightly made headlines.
I dont believe that any talent can outshine or in some way diminish the horror of child abuse..and i certainly dont care if someone wants to call me an arsehole for saying and thinking it.
No amount of talent can ever make up the destruction of innocence.
none the less i feel sorry for his family and those who feel pain in his passing

Loved the music, dont know the "proven beyond doubt" facts about the court case and evidence against him.
It was bizzare behaviour,me if i was loaded with millions,my pad would be like Hugh Hefners pad, playboy mansion, not like a permanent kids playground. |

a very sad day for his family and fans, tho i was never one myself.
i personally will remember him as a guy who paid $22million hush money to the family of a 12 year old boy to stop the youngster testifying against him.

This was a guy who was pushed all his life, he was physically abused by his father and older siblings from a very young age.
The guy had no normal childhood and became a shell of a human from a very early age.
Musically he was a genious and the marketing abilities during the early 80's made him a superstar.
Bad career decisions after "Dangerous" robbed him of most of his finances and his marketing machine. He became a sorry reclusive hermit surrounding himself with a fairground and children to help him reinvent the childhood he never had.
Allegations were made against him that he stupidly and naively paid the Chandler family off, where he should have counter sued for deformatioj of character. The case wouldn't have gone of court anyway.
He then set about his "Heal The World" Campaign which opened the hearts of millions worldwide.
Another dark accusation was brought against him which he was exonerated from in a public court battle.
People like Michael Jackson will always attract controversy wherever they go in life, Michael didn't help himself with the cosmetic surgery and listening to the wrong advisors.
What is interesting now is the wait on the toxicity reports from the coroners.
Michael was a strict vegetarian and took vitamin injections to replace what his body was not naturaly producing.
Did the doctor overdose him or was something wrong with the needle, we do not know.
His death may not even be accidental
But whatever your thoughts and feelings on the guy
Remember this he was still the highest gross seller of music the planet has ever known. He earns the accolade of "King of Pop" and todays musical youth could take a leaf from his legend and learn a thing or two.
I trully hope he is at peace with himself and in a better place cause the place he has left fucked him over big time especially the past decade.
Michael Joseph Jackson
29th August 1958-25th June 2009
Son, Brother, Father, entertainer
May he forever rest in peace, and may we foreverlive with his music and the memory of a musical legend
Peace Be With you MJJ. |

Big day in the music world. Last 'legend' that passed away was Freddie mercury, wasn't it?
Also on this day George Michael was born, the day that Michael Jackson died.
He and Elvis are sipping beers and eating burgers wherever they are both resting. |
