Pissing hell. Mind that horrific experience we had with Mrs having her drink spiked? In my panic & stress driving home I managed to unwittingly drive in a bus lane on cathedral st & I've now ended up with a fine! I was doing a good deed. What happened to karma?!
Rant over. I'm away to a gig.

I don't get what that has to do with karma.
I'm a strong believer in doing right for others and treating people the way you want to be treated but not because I'm expecting good back, unfortunately it doesn't work that way. There are lots of good people in the world that bad things happen too |

I'm not expecting good back, you do the right thing because it's the right thing to do. I'm just annoyed because in the process of doing the right thing I ended up getting fined. Insult to injury kinda thing. |

That's a kick in the teeth. Couldn't you claim the mitigating circumstances of having to drive in a bus lane, because you were valiantly rescuing your deliberately poisoned girlfriend at the time, that you needed to use all of the road, in a circumstance that you thought was life or death and this was no time to be observing pedantic traffic laws? |

Emergency services except police aren't aloud to break speed the limit anymore, ma uncle is an ambulance driver & police showed up to hospital found out it was him driving at the time of the incident, gave home 3points & a fine for doing 40 in a 30 in an emergency!!
It's all just a money making scheme,
Ma mate also got a £40 fine for doing 33 in a 30 in glasgow |

What he said
Laws are there for a reason if we all went about breaking them willy nilly then where would we all be.
I understand you were worried about your mrs. But I'm sure the roads are full of worried people in a hurry |

Do it regularly in a big red truck with blues and never had problems... Ok on blues but if not then your subject to the standard rules of the road traffic act. |

Try writing to them with the mitigating circumstances chances are they will say pay up but you never know worth a shot. I wrote when doll was getting major operation after collapsing and having possible very serious condition had just been told it might be the big C and was in a daze driving through springburn and got speeding fine and they did listen and cancelled it so occasionally they do listen |
