I've been on here a while now as you can see from my profile .

I'm on a dating site too but don't seem to be having any luck ! I'm looking for a soulmate as well as a sex partner so am I looking in the wrong place ppl ?

What do you think ?

It works for some and not for others nothing ventured nothing gained but for most they get together and are all loved up until it goes pear shaped they all they want do is slag each other off and kill each other ....but for a small amount of folks it does work .

I met my partner through fabs and we're still going strong 2.5 years after our first meet. I was on vanilla dating sites and bored senseless with the 'nilla guys and their lack of kink so I realised I was more likely to find my match here. After we moved in together 2 other guys I'd met here told me they had wanted to date more seriously but thought I wouldn't want that as I was evidently having such a good time lmao. So I guess you never know unless you ask. I know lots of folks say this isn't a dating site but I don't see where it states that anywhere. It's actually all things to all people. There are folks on here looking for more and we shouldn't be afraid to state that out loud.

Both of us came on here as singles. The idea was to meet other singles & couples & have fun. Neither of us saw this coming! Who knows where it'll go but we're loving it currently

Anything can happen on fab, whether you're looking for it or not! I see no harm in using it for one off sex, regular sex or something more. As long as you're honest with the people you meet.

I think it's just as likely here as anywhere.

And no one should make you feel you are in the wrong place..

That said it depends on the type of relationship you ultimately hope for.

For instance do you want a swinging relationship or a more exclusive thing. Often I think that's when issues can occur.

For me I want happily ever after. Just one person where I'm enough for them and only me and vice versa. That's not something everyone on here would want.

Communication is vital but even more important than that is self awareness and being honest with yourself too.

Best place to find a fuckbuddy perhaps.

But not a partner,, you'll end up with trust issues etc.

My opinion is stick to the dating sites,, read over your profile a few times. Sometimes people come over too forward and pushy in the way they write,,

Think it'd be so much easier to meet someone on here cause of shared interests obviously but some guys don't like that you've met others and think you're after a swinging relationship instantly... Or they're just crazy stalkers

A lot of people on fab are already attached, but if you're looking for someone with a high sex drive who might also be promiscuous then here's the best place to look really. Don't let anyone put you off looking.

Yes off course you can. If you meet someone and you mutually click then why not. However I wouldn't set my sights on that being the reason your here. Lots of folk are on this site because they don't want a relationship but still want to satisfy their "needs"

Oh dont get me wrong i have no problem with people using it to find relationships and as you say theres not an abundance of sites for non vanilla dating lol ..but having been here many years now site seems to be getting more popular with singles solely intent on finding the 1 ...lost count of the times you see a profile ..wanting this that and the next ..then suddenly ..not meeting anymore ... met the 1 for me

We met on here 6 years ago and now Married and came back on here as a couple so yes i would say you can find a partner on here but i also think you shouldnt go looking for one on here just have fun getting to know people and see where it can lead too and if you click and over time and you just never know you could met your soulmate on here.

I think that's kinda nice though. The whole scene is so mainstream now that I'm not sure it has the same appeal for me as it once did. It was always a little bit taboo and I think I liked that. Now it seems to be the done thing.

It's a bit like booze. I was shit hot at underage drinking... when I got to 18, it totally lost any appeal.

Awww I met a girl on here recently who I'd like that level of connection with, she seems determined to strut her stuff though and since I'm pretty much a male slut bag sometimes I can understand the appeal.

Still if she ever calms down I'll still be on her phone.

Yip agreed, but then again, you make it what you want.

Everyone has their own appeal and sometimes others can ride on it and be so excited, Brining their stimulating and excitement to a whole new level making it all over again but like a new start for you.

Everyone have their own ideas and views but someone on here can really make you express them more and enhance them, (now that's a thought).

I could be wrong but I may be able to make some people loose all inhibitions that they didn't know they had and make then want more beyond desire
