What Ho All!!!! 
Just a quickie to say cheerio.
I have had enough og life here in the great metropolis so having considered my options I am off to the Shetland Islands.
I have found a crofters cottage, no mains water, phone line, neighbours etc...although I do believe there is an electrical supply. I will able to open the kitchen window and throw stones into the Atalantic ocean....all in all it sounds like heaven!
There'sno phone line, and mobile coverage is patchy but I hope to pop in here from time to time to annoy you all and post the occasional fugy story
It's beena blast. Thanks for all the fab forum posts, chats etc that have brought tears to my eyes and amused me. Thanks to all of you that have been there to steer me through the darker times and for all of you that have provided endless cups of tea (fugy....your teapot is mine ya woofter  )
I hope that I'll not become the wicker man and that I'll make the occasional trip back to civilisation so may see some of you about.....so keep the kettle on

Have worked on the islands a few times and as you know it's lovely there, in fact one of my old colleueges has done the very same.

sorry to see you moving on stu...altho i have to admit I am rather jealous...cut off from most of the civilised world sounds like heaven, altho you do realise that most of the crofters are kinda weird! if you have ever watched iam legend then you know wot i mean |
