My work here is done 
None of these terms hurt my feelings in the slightest. However why so people assume it's okay? Not everyone is as resilient or thick skinned.

This and the comments from other women here have made me rethink the merits of replying/ignoring messages from those in whom they've no interest in meeting. When the most polite 'no thanks' gets that sort of abuse, what is the point?

Thanks for the lovely comments and messages. It's very sweet.
I didn't post for compliments though. I just feel it's crazy. Not a day goes by when some bloke moans on a forum about being ignored or not getting a meet. I realise that only a tiny number of men are such idiots. However I'm quite sure they cause so much offence on a daily basis on here to many people. Yet there are no where near as many that really hurt my feelings posts.
I have a mirror. I live in my body. I don't need a random to tell me I'm fat. I also don't need their approval. I'm fine without it. However there are so many on here who really would be upset by the remarks. Who may already be down or fragile. They come on here when confidence is low to perhaps feel better. To be accepted. Those people would be running away.
I know it's the Internet and there will always be trolls. I just hope that they are taken no notice of xx |

I can relate to the kind of people who might be affected by the kind of vile abuse, P-M, perhaps in other ways. And as much as I admire you and others who see it clearly for what it is and can shake it off readily, I agree with those who suggest reporting to admins. I'm sure they want to know when such things go on and make sure there are consequences for the trolls. |

i find it so dam sad that some seem to think its ok to be rude or cruel or nasty i just dont understand why just that why?.my god life is such privilege and we should treasure all parts of it , i used to think there was room fro us all on this planet but you know maybe the empty hearted should be sent to mars to enjoy each others company. |

I've had this a few times lately from guys when I've either politely said "no thanks" or not replied to a message.
One guy told me I was too fat for him to be interested in anyway (must have got confused when he was continually messaging and asking me out for lunch and a drink dates) and the closest I got to exercise was eating marathon bars.......aye mate maybe in the 80s, get with it

I generally just put that down to very small cock syndrome. It's awful but I suspect it's a given these days which is total shite but for every knobend there has to be at least two good guys. Well that's what I keep telling myself!

Got rushed into hospital with oedema in my feet at end of July, 2 days later I couldn't walk, had temp paralysis from the neck down. Had every test known to man going.. CT's MRIs, Lumbar punctures. Was in hospital for 2 months.
Have a "thing" called "grand transverse myelitis" - spinal cord nerve damage (degenerative). Similar to MS...
Also had 2 facial strokes as well xx

Knowing Alice flower personally the marathon jibe cracked me up it was "retro dissing" at its best, and being the girl Alice is she also saw the funny side to it, best way to take it.
