Lucky Cat tattoo at city centre end of great western road.
We've had stuff done by a few artists but the owner of the shop is the best tattooist we've ever came across.
Not cheap, but for quality work you'll pay a premium rate. Worth every penny tho. |

The best artist in Glasgow bar none is Steve Wrigley at Irezumi in Dowanhill, he is the best in city by a long shot, the others mentioned don't touch his work.
Rock N Roll, Custom Ink and Blancolo are also A+ studios with great artists. |

The important thing is that you feel comfortable with the person who has control of your skin- check out everyone who has been mentioned and then- make your decision |

??explain...I had my half sleeve done by the very much internationally admired artist Louis Malloy in Manchester and he himself knows of the work done by Steve Wrigley at Irezumi, he is Terrys son, if you know your ink you should realise his reputation is shit hot, and so is Custom Ink.
Fail. |

I have a tattoo by Steven. I also have tattoos by other artists (2 half sleeves)which include a custom full back piece by the person we now use (whos work, in our opinion, is far far superior to stevens) .
My wife also has 2 half sleeves by the same artist and a large lower back piece by another (all custom), so yes I think we're qualified to comment on ink
Your claim that he is "the best in the city" is, in our opinion, utter pish as we stated. You'd have to have seen work by every other artist in Glasgow to make that claim.
That some other artist admires his work holds no water, nor does the fact that he is Terries son.
My dad was a great football player yet I couldn't kick in ball in the same direction twice.
Go figure!!!! |

i think the point is that to your eye steves work is great and untouchable but to many people they find it same as the next persons its a matter of taste as with most things in life me i used to like tribal designs now i like old school with a twist some artists wont move from their comfort zone so you have to find one who is and you like his / her work but as stated you cant say this one is best or that one is best as its personal opinion just my thought on this subject and no offence meant |

"Visit Frank at Creative Art Tattoo up at charing cross."
Have to agree should give him a vist i got an amazing tattoo done from him..... lets not forget tattooing is an art performed by artist's design, line work, shading colour blending, free hand abilty, Health and hygiene all these factors make for a good artist i done my homework when i got a full leg piece done!! which has some really intricate line work and he came up top for me |

Like a painting and a painter.... Everyone will have different views on the style, the technique, the textures, the lines etc.... It's exact same when choosing a design and artist in tattooing....
Those who know me know I have a fair sized backpiece.... It's perfect for me and I love the way it's done etc... Free hand work... I would recommend but it's on Kirriemuir lol...
Look around and make ur own opinion |
