What about professional neds? People who excel at 'nedding'.

While looking/browsing in the past, I found that those women who claimed to be professional, were usually anything but!

It's a nice way of saying we are looking for classy rather than trashy end of the day you are inviting people into your homes

Never seen anyone describe themselves as un-professional though there are a few trades people who probably should.

Professional to me . Means you have worked hard to get to a certain standard in your life. Career, etc . It means not intrested in the Joe blogg on the street. To mix with people your own standard.

Your txt speak (sic) and abandonment of spelling and punctuation suggest that I might look elsewhere when next requiring an enquiring and incisive interrogation of any documents that could have a bearing on my future financial wellbeing.

Should you be my only recourse in a criminal matter - I might well plead guilty and, 'Take the days', as they say.

Disingenuous to suggest that you don't know what this means - you might find it distasteful - but you know what it means.

Its maybe bodie or doyle whose profile claims " professional".

If you don't know ask your parents.

the official term professional - hold a degree and have a regulatory body to oversees the profession.

think most people who have it are looking for someone they can engage with intellectually

When in doubt, ask the professionals: Jeeves was playing golf with Bing, and Google is a little Ned-esque for one's taste - a 'Yahoo' so to speak - so Wikipedia it is . . .

"A professional is a member of a profession or any person who earns their living from a specified activity.

The term also describes the standards of education and training that prepare members of the profession with the particular knowledge and skills necessary to perform the role of that profession.

In addition, most professionals are subject to strict codes of conduct enshrining rigorous ethical and moral obligations. Professional standards of practice and ethics for a particular field are typically agreed upon and maintained through widely recognised professional associations.

Some definitions of "professional" limit this term to those professions that serve some important aspect of public interest and the general good of society."

And there you have it! Must be true, 'cos it's on the web!
