Glad to know it's not just me lol I have a playtent/wardrobe size tardis and retro art work from Dr who I'm quite a geek as I have poison ivy,harley quinn and Rachel Huntingdon art work too |

Love doctor who, David Tennant was best ever though, almost stopped watching it when Matt Smith played him he was terrible & the story's were worse, Peter Capaldi is no bad, liked rose, captain Jack was brilliant, loved donna, wasn't keen on Amy, hate clara |

I loved it, I thought it was a very decent first episode.
Capaldi and Gomez both were outstanding in this, I particularly liked both of their reactions to finding out they were on Skaro. It was well played by both of them.
I didn't really like the overly long entrance of the guitar playing, tank standing Doctor. We all know the Doctor likes to make an entrance but it was more reminiscent of Bill and Ted than the Doctor. Maybe if it wasn't so long it would have been ok, along with the one liner crappy jokes that just seemed filler and a bit of killer for me.
However, the opening sequence of the hand mine field and the realisation was a great opener. The Daleks, well who doesn't love them?
The welcome return of Julian Bleach as Davros is exciting, and I'm looking forward to seeing how this unfolds.

Capaldi is a really good doctor and he's really doing his best with some shit-awful story lines! That nonsense with space-Odin a few weeks ago was appalling and the guff with the talking lion last week was every bit as bad.
Always hopeful though... |
