Sorry it's the hoffbrau tent at the festival it's a culture shock if your there the first weekend and stay at thalkirken campsite not sure of spelling

I'm there this weekend. It is my 5th year in a row. It is a great festival, lots of local people as well as tourists. It is very easy to meet people. Beer, food, costumes... what's not to love.

There are some great after parties as well (the main 'fest finishes at around 11pm).

Go a few days after Oktoberfest

All you will see are d*unk Aussies and Yanks.
