Thought we'd have a crack at organizing a social for the Inverness/Highland area. We understand there hasn't been one for a while and that it wasn't that well attended anyway. Shall have a go and at least we can say we've tried. If it goes well we could do it again.
So it shall be on Saturday 24th October at a city pub to be announced just before the event. This is a social event only, a chance to meet some faces behind the profiles. Possibly pick up a verification and who knows, make a date for something else.
We are aware that many people need to be discreet, and would panic about having to explain why they are in a particular place when they run into their Uncle's friends sisters third cousin twice removed or something. So we have come up with a novel idea for getting round any awkwardness, having a reason to be there, and hopefully an icebreaker too. This will be explained in advance to those who are definite.
To ensure that real people turn up as well as a good mix, we shall look for decent profiles, who've been on a while. Will try also to not make it a sausage fest. Shall publish numbers, but not specific profile names. If interested post on here.
So lets see who's out there.... |

Shall put you down as a yes, but probably suspending single guys for a while now as they're getting towards a majority.

I'm afraid for the moment we're suspending single guys as it's becoming the aforementioned sausage fest. |

After spamming everyone in the area, we now have the following...

And with the addition of Highland Willie, Highlander121, Fly4671,bigguy200, _otscot123 and _uke998 the total of guys is now 14.

If we can get childcare arranged it would be nice to come along. We're new to the area and don't have family close by but if you put is on the list we'll let you know closer to the time when get a chance to organise something. |
