Okay so your chatting away and things are going good, you've discussed a potential meet then they say something that puts you right off meeting them .
Anyone had this before and what was it that made you change your mind ? |

Chatting to a woman for ages including on the phone agreed to meet for a nice meal drops the bombshell she has 5 kids and they are coming as well quick change of heart |

Had met a girl once socially and we got on great, text and messaged over the following week and agreed to meet for fun that weekend. She asked me to come over after 9pm as the kids would be in bed then.
Just told her I would never do that and I never contacted her again. |

people that suddenly come across as too needy after a relatively short period of chat...
I had one a few weeks back who i was talking to about a meet, but alarm bells were starting to clang about this one being clingy...
they messaged and said someone asked them for a meet and asked me if would mind if they met them?..... i was like why would I?,,, its a swingers site and we're not in a relationship or anything etc....
they then said " you're my sexy girlfriend and i talk to you more than anyone on here. I would love to be in a relationship with you, how awesome would it be if we lived together!"...
FUCK THAT!!.... made me glad I dont have a rabbit and a big pot..... thats just coo-koo....had to nip that in the bud rapido!  |

I know we're all adults and can do as we please but when I'm talking to people and they're constantly meeting different people every other day even the days in between/or the day before we have planned to meet, etc is a big turn off for me. Again, no reason to annoy me as we can all meet who we want but a busy woman is a turn off for me. |

Its a swingers site on here to enjoy our selfs Nsa . However I agree Iv lots of verifications for socials some people think that means you have sleeped with them. If they are practicing safe sex what's the issue. ??? |

Yep too many and frequent verifications from all on sundry on a females profile is a bit of a turn off for me too.As you say a few words is all it takes for you to be put off a person after it looking so positive.Just hated it when she said that her name used to be Angus a few years ago. :-/.... |

It really puts me off when I get a message from someone who just wants to meet straight away with no chat or pics etc. Just screams of desperation! Same as someone who meets constantly and had loads of verifications....... Just rings alarm bells for me.
I also hate the "do you wanna meet in my car for some fun" messages. Again, I know some people are into that but it's just not for me.......

I was talking to a gal on here this week getting on like a house on fire so we decided to chat off here & speak on kik instead. So chatting away convo is going great & she asks me do you drink. I say no I'm tea total her reaction was priceless lol. It's OMFG YOU ARE KIDDING ME. I reply no why? Sorry I have never been with anyone who is teatotal before I don't trust folk who don't drink. End of convo 2 days chat down the drain. I actually found it funny but have to say that's my weirdest knock back ever hahahaha |

i had the experience years ago where i was messaged by a lady who seemed really nice and keen on meeting and we spoke in-depth for a few weeks till we came down to arranging a meet at which point in time she confided in me that she was HIV positive....that has to be one of the strangest thing's ive experienced on here other than people contacting me to meet and having me turn up to hotels in the pelting rain or bitter cold snow only to find that their phones are switched off and they neglected to inform me of their hotel room number lol stranger things have happened |

Lol you too ninja, i ended up travelling 60+ miles only to end up on a platform in the cold and their phone was very quiet then i saw them online the next day and a spooky silence lol.
or lately got speaking to a couple and all was going great, after near 9/10 days of chat and the meet date was set, so one week before meet and im waiting on details of where and date of meet, they go quiet and as far as i know have not been back on site, lol i seem to get from time to time the ones who are talkers but not walkers lol.
But back to the question...I dont think ive had to cancel a meet as yet but looking at some of the comments, i would say what would put me off meeting someone is if they had been meeting all week and met someone for fun before meeting me. |

Lol you have to remember sadly that some cant read or get past pics lol to reach the veris but i agree that after a social you can end up putting on a load of veris and its their loss since they cant read lol. |
