So I've been browsing the forum for a while now and have noticed a general lack of activity in the South Lanarkshire area.
I've always been interested in exploring the more social side of the site, and I am well aware that people tend to generalize about the area they are from for safety/privacy/many other reasons.
SO what I wondered was why does no one seem to want to explore this. Maybe I'll look into sorting something in the future. I'm just trying to get a sort of rough idea how many people would equally be interested, or if any one else is currently organizing anything of interest |

Think most people from Lanarkshire attend the socials in Glasgow. Because Lanarkshire covers such a large area it would be difficult getting to certain places whereas Glasgow is more central x |

Use the who's near bye app on iPhone at eleven pm stands to reason then they are probably living near bye if they show up and apparently only about 2% of site use forums that's a huge amount of people to get to know |

South lanarkshire is fecking huge ...runs from glasgow south right all the way down to dumfries and galloway ..im thinking the majority will be in the north of region making it easier to just say glasgow as its close by... saying south lanarkshire they could be 40 miles south of ek and hamilton |

Yeah exactly, but having the possibility to put in real area without people seeing it might pull up a better idea of where local users are. Making it easier to organise events, some people drive, some people work awkward hours, and some people just don't have the time to travel all the way to the nearest "city" |
