If that's the case that would have been the case with cjs. Neither are brothels. It's a place where swinging open minded can have fun and do what they enjoy. It's entirely up to the individual wether you play or not or have multiple partners. It's about having a good time freely with like minded people. People pay for hotels for meets and party's. Just the same x |

from what we heard of cjs it was a place you could go and have a laugh, it wasnt a place for us but plenty seemed to have a disciples attitude towards it, so we are guessing the need to "play" wasnt as vital whereas from what we can see of the shoebox its entirely about paying to get into to have sex so in our opinion we would say there is a big difference between the two. |

Defo not Iv been to both and it's entirely up to you what you do. You can chill chat mingle. Just socialise. Cjs was a bigger venue so more even spread. The shoebox is a small flat. So many places to go .But there's Defo no pressure to play and everyone is lovely x |

Hi all,
Shoebox here was made aware of this forum thread just a wee while ago and glad to see so many of you stating that you have had a good time at The Shoebox.
We do however note that there is some opposition and also a reference to a brothel. Firstly, running a brothel that is only open during afternoon daytime hours twice a week and only to members on fab would not be a very well managed brothel in my opinion and certainly not profitable. So no, we are not a brothel.
We do however charge a contribution fee, like any other swingers venue. We are a property and like any other properties we have overheads and rates etc to cover. This venue is used strictly for swingers parties and is not a domestic dwelling.
Anyone who can run a venue separately from their home and without overheads and requirement to charge, please feel free to open up as there is lots of room in Glasgow for like minded clubs.
We are a smaller venue and have stated clearly on the profile that we are not looking for social side, more the people who are ready and wanting to play side.
Lack of space means that things are in your face we believe that this is to the benefit of everyone attending and totally understand that not everyone may share that same view.
As always with any swinger venue, no means no and there are several unmissable notices with the venue that state just that.
I would agree that small venue can entice play more frequently, which we believe is a major bonus as that is what everyone should be in the frame of mind for & if not then the shoebox is NOT for you.
We welcome any questions that you may have in regards to the shoebox venue via private message.
Many regards and happy swinging

And here we have it again, which I can see how comments were made on the other thread.
Lots of fear, assumptions, presumptions or whatever label you choose to use.
The comments being made reflect more on the individuals posting and their state of mind or fear than the venue "in my opinion"
Well done to a new venue, of which I have yet to visit but have no misconceptions about since I have not been yet |

Theres having an opinion and imposing your beliefs and criticising a business because of what your impression is and was.
We all know, no means no. And any club or party always adheres and stipulates this.
Therefore unless your personal experience is this at any venue I feel its unfair to make that sort of comment which can and will impact on a venues rep |

I haven't seen anyone try to "impose their beliefs" on anyone. I've seen people say "I don't think this is for me", which is totally different.
I've witnessed someone being fisted. I don't have to try it to know it isn't for me. |
