Following the targeting of ashley Maddison and now POF, I wonder if fabswingers will be a potential future target...

What is it that's actually happening?

Not sure it would matter if they did as most profiles don't have face pictures or details for public view. Unless they are targeting IP addresses but even then not sure what info they could get!

Because they take your private info,so if you have been

face/body verified

Any private pictures

Details of phone numbers/credit cards (if you have ever become a site supporter)

etc

No you need to go and read the forum that the fab owners have put up to put your mind at ease. It's very comprehensive

Plenty of fish was a malware redirect not a hacking of their servers

ashley maddison had very tight security at a guess far tighter than fabs security. If your worried about it upload no more even pics in pvt aint secure in the cyber world

Yes I have read it though I have also read about the ashley maddison security which according to industry experts was very good even as far as using new systems and softwares.the simple fact is anything you have uploaded is not safe its in the public domain. all you can do is be more secure about what you upload now.the https will help when instgated but isnt here yet

I heard the opposite at the madison website. Seems that data wasn't encrypted and people who paid $20 to have their data deleted have found that it was still live.

Of course the hacking group is going to say there was no security same as the company is going to say it was extremely tight. The article I read when this story broke was from an indepent security analysis group. More worrying for the cheats among us the impact team have said they will be going after other sites that allow innocent folk to be harmed bysites that enable it
