I've put on a few pounds due to being away for a few weeks and existing on a lot of Maccy Ds and pub grub.

Need to shift the weight and looking for some healthy breakfast options as I find I'm eating the same things all the time and would like some variety.

Suggestions please

Poached eggs give you the vitamins you need to start the day plus low in fat. Just get a good pouching pan first. I still have nightmares about them done in a pan of water when I was I kid lol

I have brown roll and banana midweek when I get into work.

Weekends I have brown toast, tinned chopped tomatoes with herbs, bacon medallions grilled, egg and mushrooms.

As a former resident of Copland Road, I only ever have Blue tea.

My personal trainer said protein to me. Stops the sweet mid morning cravings. So eggs, cold meat, cheese, bacon... Anything like that he said.

Not sure that's right.. I thought atkins advocated high protein and fat as a way to reduce carbon load...

Happy to proved wrong.

I have to smile at cheese, bacon, eggs, Lorne sausages as a healthy breakfast.

I think I would follow the guys mentioning yoghurt and fruit I think.

Coffee and only coffee. No sugar. If you want to lose the flab then you need to put as many hours as possible between last night's meal and your next food intake. Watch the gut disappear.

I'm having smoked cod and poached egg. Late morning breakfast but will probably skip lunch, so that should set me up for the day.

Just ordered some cod along with the other food for our BBQ, so I'll be having some of that on Friday morning when it's all delivered
