That is our schools closed tomorrow I am not looking forward to it.
Laine I think we should put your 12 year olds with my two and we book a couple of rooms for ourselfs and go back when the weather changes  |

Just to let everyone in Fife know all Fife schools are closed tomorrow - Tuesday 30th November
I have just been told by my oldest and checked it out she is right

I've told them all that the kitchen is shut tomorrow........ I'm all out of home-made soup.... go spend tomorrow at another mums house! |

i think the days that they are off school
should be added onto the year+give them less than the bloody shocking 7weeks holidays at summer+also bring summer camp like the states have.yeah kids away to that all summer oh yeah lol xxxx

I'm getting fed up being an unpaid child minder! All my son's pals seem to gravitate to our house and are eating me out of house and home.
There's always one of them arrives at nine-thirty, and even when chucked home for tea at six arrives back on the doorstep at half past and stays till nine pm. Almost 12 hours with a load of 12 year old boys is doing my nut in! |

I dunno about elsewhere in Scotland but I believe school staff in Glasgow have been told that, if they can't get to the school they normally work in, they should attempt to get to their nearest school. |

In Fife the decision on whether the schools will remain closed is being made at around 7am each day.
According to the council website each head teacher can decide the fate of their school, however so far the council has decided for them at just before 7am each day.
Some teachers have however been told that their schools will not reopen until Monday - not that us parents are being told which schools, so I am still sending texts and updating here so people know.

well with less than 30mins of school time left ELC has decided to close schools ...... they have been deliberating over this since 11am and now the buses have got stuck and are awaiting snow ploughs .....WHAT A JOKE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1 |
