What study was it? I do prefer a man with a good sturdy build to a honed waistline which is half of mine. Hard work put into those abs but not my cup of tea

Gym fit ripped men intimidate me . They tend to want the slim leggy ones who are no more than a size 10. It's a sweeping generalisation I know. As such I'd spend my time feeling very insecure

this made me laugh and reminded me of a meet I had years ago from another site.

Met a very fit guy for a drink and the whole time we were together he kept looking over my shoulder.

I thought someone must be more interesting than me.

He got up to go to the loo so I decided to check out who he'd been looking at only to discover there was no one behind me except a mirror... He was only a little bit vain honest

I don't mind a gym bod or a dad bod but they have to at least have their heads out their arses. Nothing worse than a vain man or woman

Having had a gym obsessed ex I'd rather have a guy with a less impressive body & more time to spend with me.

Gym body is nice to look at. But it depends on the guy that has the body. So long as the guy cares for me that's all I want.

Got to agree with pink mist, I find the ripped look intimidating and wouldn't message a couple if the guy is ripped.

I like a more slender body shall we say

I am in no way slim but I'm small and I remember one occasion I was with a slightly larger guy and I cud barely breath, maybe technique had something to do with it but some oxygen wud have been handy

What do people go to the the gym for ? To look better yes.....but its not just that. If you go to the gym its more than likely to increase your stamani, agility, balance, strength ect. Your overall health. Studys also show increased testorone in men who work out... Not taking anything away from your average "dad" body but its common sense.

They don't! I only feel worse now because even though I am still a six/eight, I'm getting older and things are getting softer, I haven't had any complaints as yet though.....may still happen

I have a dad body, had it years. I go to the gym 4 times a week now thanks to a friend's advice like yours. Now I stand straight, I can squat ( not impressive I know ) have agility and confidence again. Still got my beer belly, should have stopped drinking 20 years ago to lose it! But I'm back in the front row, albeit vets team and I love all shapes of women. We are all gorgeous, let's never forget it....I'm dead sexy!

For me it's all about the face rather than the body.

The initial attraction for me has to be based on a a face pic. I do love a dad bod though. Makes me feel less insecure about my own wobbly bits

MAMOBA, miles and miles of bugger all (Aberdeenshire)

Not into ripped or overly muscular men... give me a nice soft but not fat fella... something nice to snuggle... and a bit of hair is perfect.

Pretty much describes my current lover!
