Don't care either way
Football is no longer a sport; its a business and has been a business for a long time
when has football been teams made of local towns and cities, long long ago
and yet you still get people saying "hows my team done this week"
lol, the players don't care about the fans, just as long as they get paid each week, and a weekly wage is more than a fan earns in a year.

Another upbeat post.
As far back as the 70's and 80's teams weren't made up exclusively of local players. It's 'their team' because it's the team they support not because they have any local connection with the players ffs.
