As a suggestion, wouldn't it be best if you removed the option to see if a message has been read, deleted or still unread?

It really doesn't appear to have any benefit and seems to cause a lot of angst from many who then go on to send abusive messages because someone hasn't replied to them.

When a thread is started about this subject, most people reply with 'stop looking at your sent messages and concentrate on your received messages'

So wouldn't it be best if your sent items are just that? Messages that you have sent and nothing more?

No i think it'd be alot better if these people just got a life

Not being a site supporter I use the sent mail as a way of remembering what Ive said to those few replies I do get 6 weeks later...

Hard to concentrate on an empty inbox lol
