From Hayfever?

This is the first time I've ever suffered with it and its killing me.

Eyes streaming , nose running , constantly sneezing and sniffling. ....urgh.

Someone chuck a bucket of water over me.

That is all

I had never suffered from hayfever or prickly heat until I had my first baby then bam.....summer is my enemy!

I feel your pain. I get it bad whenever there's a high count of pollin. I tried many a tablets only one kind worked and that was the cheapest brand out them all.

I hate hayfever. Even at night I'm still struggling. Not good. Itchy eyes, skin itchy and sniffly nose.

Poor you, it really bad at first as you don't know what to do about it. Chemist in the morning and ask for advice, they should know what type of pollen is in the air and hopefully come up with the answer for you. x

I used to get hayfever really bad when I lived in Newcastle and then I moved to Inverness about 13 years ago and I stopped suffering from it.

I must stress though, hayfever wasn't the reason I moved so far north although as cures go I'd highly recommend it, you don't have to worry about prescriptions and tablets, just one single move 400 miles north and problem solved.

I've also just remembered that this is the Scottish forum so my miracle cure of moving north will not be much use to anyone.

ps - Don't tell the English

pps - Yes I am English, but I'm a Geordie so it's fine

Had hayfever for well over 20yrs and its ducking torture and what makes it worse is my body burns off all medication within an hour therefore I'm immune to any prescriptions tablets and what not it's been killing me the past few days and my eyes are all dry now due to the constant scratching them

It's a nightmare , on a new stronger prescription from doctors now and that keeps it at bay mostly , i never suffered from it for years even though I do a lot of work in farm and agricultural environments then in a space of about 3 months I started the sneezing and itchy eyes etc .... Must be getting old ( physically not mentally )
