Has anyone heard what's going on with Fixations?
The site is now closed due to a legal dispute, it says |

the last I read there was drama, something between them and a guy wanting a share of the business.
not a great way to start a business that relies on discretion |

Just had an email from them so I assume all other users will too |

It's a new swinging event that was going to be taking place in swanky places around Scotland, centrally I think.
There was a website that some of us registered with, now there are legal issues going on between the organisers. |

Noticed the site was down. Such a shame. However also noticed recent new couple to fab who's username is the same as the clubs name, so they may well tell the world what has happened at some point.
Either way still hoping Edinburgh could have a local event at some point.

We were at a party they held in Dundee couple of months ago, although neither is on here now |

It would be nice to have something outside of Edinburgh or Glasgow though. A lot of miles in between them and Aberdeen! |

Maybe they were directly advertising, the others are usually promoted by their followers. |

Nonsense. Look at the clubs section and how many 'followers' post relating to the other clubs in the areas to get traffic.
If it's an issue, start charging for advertising for all clubs. Not just get out the iron Fab Fist. If there are events etc taking place many want to know and we'd have no other way of knowing if people don't mention it on here.

And I did say maybe as I don't know the exact details of their ban, what advertising may have taken place or any other fact.
So, maybe |

As Kola said above, it's ok for some but not others, so yes, it's a fair comment.
If the face fits etc.
Kinda spoils the user experience of the site though.

No one knows the direct reason for any ban other than the person themselves. Sometimes the reason given by a banned person is not always the same as the reasonAdmin give though.
There are no double standards though,Admin allow all clubs to be advertised on a profile. They just can't have multiple ones advertising or spam people in mail or the forum.
