I'm doing a sponsored trek to raise money for a chosen charity. Myself and my colleagues from a youth organisation I'm involved with are taking on the challenge of walking the west highland way to raise funds for the Soldier Sailor and Air Force Association (SSAFA), a charity which helps serving and ex serving members of the armed forces and their families.
All donations will be going to a good cause. The Trek takes place from 14th - 21st May 2011. I'll be very grateful for any sponsors passed my way to help such a great charity.
Anyone wishing to sponsor me please leave a message and I'll reply back with details on how you can sponsor me.
Thanks very much guys, I'll really appreciate it. Its for a good cause. |

SSAFA Glasgow, back in the day when they lived on a terrace on Sauchiehall Street were enormously helpful to and supportive of my late mother - ex-ATS - in her later years.
It wasn't just about financial support, it was much more about making ex-servicemen and women feel that their individual contribution, great or small, was valued and respected.
If you DO feel able to support this very worthwhile cause, I urge you to do so. |
