Edinburgh Tuesday Night

Hey I am heading over to Edinburgh Tuesday with my FB and was wondering where's nice to go that night out? I.e. Drinks, good atmosphere, possibly girls (as she has been talking about trying her Bi-side)

Actualy any places to go in general during our trip is appreciated

I'm way too old for clubbing

but I like George street and rose street when I go out

Not much of a fan too, more of a find a quite pub kinda guy...but you only live once

Try the grass market,quite a number of decent pubs and plenty eateries around and the pubic triangle is just up the road

Avoid the grassmarket like the plague at the moment if you don't to be surrounded by stag and hen weekends. George Street has some good bars with less stag / hen action and a pretty good atmosphere. Definitely take her to the Dome if you're in that part of town.

There are loads of cool bars dotted around the town centre if you're not looking for the more commercial Weatherspoons-type night. Try Angels Share at the west end of Princes Street or Panda & Sons on Queens street. Sygn just round the corner from Angels Share has a pretty good vibe as well.
