See this age range on most men's profiles. How many would really meet up with say a 80 year old woman ?? Proves no effort in profile. Mabe this is why its hard to get meets ?? Men have a look and see who has this ?? LOL |

It's a general tenet of life, that the more effort you put into something, the more you get out of it.
This site is no different, and although I'm sure it doesn't apply to all, but time and again the guys who come on here complaining about struggling to get a meet, have put little effort or imagination into their profile. |

I think most have an open age rage to give them more chances of meeting people regardless of age .
But so many are not truthful when setting up profiles with regards to their age anyway so it doesn't really matter what they have on their profile now anyway. |

Not just a trait of the "Desperado" chaps on here, as I've seen more than my fair share of female profiles on here with the same all-inclusive age range!

Of course the flipside of 18-99 is an unrealistically narrow age range. A 35 yo lady posted on here that she only wants to meet 35 yo men!
Many middle aged ladies want up to 45 yo men. I'm 46 this year and terrified of what hideous deformity will befall me and render me unable to chat or meet with anyone under 60.  |

Which is a shame. I'm physically fitter then I was 10 years ago, more mannerly, mature, less arrogant and cocksure. Being acceptable at 45 and 364 days and suddenly ostracised at 46 and 0 days is kinda harsh. Sure, everyone has to draw a line of preference but not necessarily block messages from someone who may be quite suited to them based solely on a number. |

few women have this too and when I've messaged them I'm told I'm too old at 42

one possible way round these filters is get yourself down to a few socials , say hi and if people like your personality...you'll make new friends and poss some fun. |
