And a few good pubs. If going to bar Leo and there's a group of you, I have heard that they can, aledgedly, be not that good at counting the bar bill!

Not much chance it'll be in the customers favour! If it's tonight you're going out "The Four Mary's" is a good pub with, usually, a good selection of guest beers. The food there isn't too bad for pub grub either. If you're looking for a bit nicer (restaurant) I have heard that "Livingston's" is quite good though you may struggle to get a table this late in the day. The Champany is good but will cost you both arms and legs though I think they have a "Pub food" side that is good but not quite so ridiculous. I hope this is of some use to you. Cheers

Had a few nights out there when worked for Sun. Nice picturesque place. Nice old bars too. All depends on the crowd your with, and the oeople you meet though.

Edinburgh

I've not been for a while, but it's got a lot of traditional style pubs in it, not many of them influenced by the Wetherspoons model of "pub". So makes a good change.
