Iam looking forward to BBC 1@9pm next Monday when the first part of the dramatisation of the novel is screened. It is filmed in the fishing village where I grew up. But anyone agree the books are hard to re creat on screen?? |

Was at a preview screening last night, it was ok.
David Kane said that he had to make a lot of changes to the story but he consulted Iain Banks, who had been happy with the job he done. |
