Remember ladies there is a way around getting all that mail you all seem to get in your inbox and it's very Simple to do just block all single males from messaging you and go look for them yourselfs . But alas i don't see that happening so please stop moaning about all the mail you get as there is a way to stop it and again Simples . |

To be fair females do hit the I get 400 mail a day line quite a bit and seems the op is mearly stating you dont want mail constantly block and look for those who intrest you perhaps then we would also lose the its only manners to reply posts unfortunatly theres no way round snog shag avoid and good middayto all fabbers  |

The facilities and settings are on the site for users to minimise the amount of mail they get. We all have the choice to use them or not. We also have the option to write our profiles in a way that will/won't attract the amount of mail we get. I didn't know message filters were an option until I'd been on the site a while. When I put them in place the amount of messages I received halved.  |

Exactly your right Audi.
But us females actually would be lost without all the messages. If we didn't get any we would wonder what's wrong with us so we are just going to have to suffer the burden of a full message box but not in silence. Oh and we do prefer a guy to chase us truth be told. |

I am very glad that you had put that bit in Fem as i was going to but as another poster posted speaking your mind means less meets and for attention seeking i am not just one who has a voice and uses it . |

I can safely say i read all the posts before i posted mine and found a simpler way off avoiding the females getting all the mail that they seem not to be wanting so just voiced my opinion by letting you all know thats what filters are there for so if you want to avoid getting all that mail you get , USE THEM. Thats not the way i worded it thats the way you picked it up no-one else has complained about that barr yourself . The only other complaining came from me putting word moaning in subject . Why no refer to what Fab Fem put in her post in this thread which is closer to the answer than you like to think but that's at least from some one in the real fab world .

I the OP knows what fems on here are like ....and to be fair comments like you will get no meets because a forum post makes me laugh.....so very few read the forums it doesn't count for the whole site......also his original point is valid in so many cases and some might not of used filters ....not everyone knows it all about the site. |

To be fair the written word is often interpreted wrongly on here....and he maybe started a new one as not everyone read the other post....and it may help others.....there is many who don't know how to use filters especially new people ....I am sure it will help couples and females equily......I don't think he was telling people how to use thier accounts I think it was a suggestion.......I do think his post was blown out of proportion slightly lol....even if it was condescending etc it may help some..... |

I see no sign in the OPs post that indicates him being condescending to women on here. I see it as simply a piece of advice which seems valid due to the "too much mail" or "guys, stop sending messages!" threads / statuses or whatever.
If you think it's good advice & you didn't realise about the filters go forth & use the advice. If you already know about the filters & are using / not using them to the extent you want to, fine. If you think he's being a dick, you're reading if wrong. |
