For those of you who know me will know I've been battling my demons this past couple of years, and to add injury in it all I almost fell off the wagon this evening

Awoke to the sad news the world has lost another musical legend in BB King

Then this afternoon a friend informed me one of my closest friends growng up passed on and I didn't know . We had seen each other in the passing over the past couple of months but with this damn illness I never made the effort to go and see him. Now I've learned he had an aneurism and died.

Went for a long walk to clear my head, called his mum and spoke to his kid before heading home

Switched on Facebook to make some sort of speech about him when I read my neighbour as a kid was also buried today.

Am I at that age where my friends are now leaving? Been there in the 80's when motorcycles, fast cars and toxic chemicals killed a few of them

Going to take time out and go into retreat try and recharge my batteries. Got some serious thinking to do about how I live my life and how going to prolong it.

BB, Dave, Martin may you three have everlasting peace

RIP mis amigos

When your feeling low and down is your biggest fight to stay strong. Going for a walk and been in touch with those you love and care about is a good move. We all have demons. Just depends who wins the fight. Or cave in . Here if you need a blether xx

Hope you managed to clear your head a bit Rok.

It can be so hard when people die, especially when they are such close friends.

But at least you know there are better ways to deal with the stresses of life than returning to your old demons

That is half the battle

Sorry to hear you are feeling this way.

Sometimes at low points, having a break from any kind of internet, or social media, can be a good thing. Get in touch with friends, loved ones, relatives, anyone you may be able to take some positive inspiration from. Or alternatively, as much as some may scoff at this, talk to someone like Breathing Space, or Samaritans? Some people find it easier to be frank and honest with someone outside their usual circle of contact.

We hope you find your way soon.
