As has been said already most don't publicly advertise in the forum as they want a select few and most are delivered also through recommendation of friends etc....
Check out meet today's and organised events on people's profiles as they sometimes advertise a house party etc

Okay so I'm not in the East but I do occasionally host small intimate house parties. Maybe 5 or 6 couples. Only once did it not generate very much interest, but the two couples who did attend had a ball!

What Roma said. We tried too before, but like trying to arrange a social. Everyone wants one - until you arrange it.
It's an Edinburgh thing.
You were invited to ours I seem to recall? Do you not have scope to arrange one?
