Flicking through the music channels there & some of the tunes brought the memories flooding back of places like Bonkers & Viccies in the 90's

What's everyone's memories of those places & other old haunts?

My old haunt was the old cathouse that was down at brown street not far from the tuxedo princess. It was a proper rock club playing amazing tunes you have to remember being a rocker was not "fashionable" back then with no real airplay or sections devoted to metal like you have in HMV now

Spent many a great weekend getting d*unk and going from level to level in the cathouse.

babaza all day long for me! 1997-2004, some awesome nights, £1 vodka red bulls, night out and home for a £20!

Remember a great night in Roscos around 1995, I'd have been 18, on a college night and an older lady took me back to hers in Shawlands and basically rode the shit out of me.... I say older, she was 24! God I loved that night!

read a thing about old glasgow clubs thought rooftops review was funny

9. MOON/ROOFTOPS, SAUCHIEHALL STREET

Moon

The carbuncle of nightclubs, truly truly horrific, a walking fire hazard, (seriously some woman set it on fire in 1977) warm bottled alcopops, flat beer, narrow gloomy staircase leading to the dance-floor/war-zone. Homegrown DJ’s playing music you wouldn’t torture a prisoner with and the regulars? Put it like this, their scars had scars. No one in the history of the world had ever been refused entry. If you managed it, you may as well have just given up on life.

G63 countryside

Used to sometimes stand near bar at Clarty's and watch newbies walk up the stair and walk into the mirror facing. Amusing and a great icebreaker to be able to talk to some of the new arrivals lol
